Re: What's in a name?

A lot of people thought I was a Hawkwind fan when I first started coming here (can't blame them) because of my name. The fact is that I came with that randomly about 8 years ago when I first signed...

Re: Guilty Pleasures!!!!!

I have to admit I am a huge Fleetwood Mac fan (from the 1975- onward era, not the blues one), indeed Rumours would probably end up in my top 10 albums list easily. :notsure:

Re: mastodon

Hi Paw,

I'm what you could call a Mastodon fan (I own Leviathan and Bloodmountain, both excellent). I'd call them progressive in the sense that they're able to fuse pretty much every genre of...

Re: Create your own supergroup...

It's a shame I can't seem to find to older supergroup topic, I created one I remember being proud of and which I would've reposted here.

Re: What CD's Are you Playing RIght Now? Top 5

These days:

Quantic/Quantic Soul Orchestra - Whole discography (I really like this stuff)

Erik Satie - Complete Piano Works (Am now in a classical music phase)

Claude Debussy - Complete Piano...

Re: Kraut und Kosmische Old videos

I got that 1971 Kraftwerk show on an audio bootleg somewhere. It sounds great, though noisy a lot.

Wink Re: Show 110 - Yes It Is

What? No metal, hard-rock, experimental rock or prog-pop, just regular prog?

Did you sell out Rick? :knowing:

Re: the GENESIS story...

I presume that by "Music fans" you mean yourself, because the last 30 years (or from 1976 onwards, if you prefer) have seen some great records being released, a trend which still continues to this...

Re: What CD's Are you Playing RIght Now? Top 5

Here's what is playing the most 'round the house nowadays:

1. Beulah - The Coast is Never Clear ; For the last 4 months, I've been playing at least one track from this album every day.

2. Steve...

Re: the GENESIS story...

Re: ELP "Tribute" record

I won't try to make any witty wordplays like my two fellows already did, but I have to concur: I hate the ELP tribute album. A lot.

I won't go as far as to ask for removal though.
