Damascus

I'd like to have this LP in the library (it is free):

http://damascusnj.bandcamp.com/album/heights-3

The EPs released previously would also be nice. Thanks.

Valerinne

From their Last.fm page (http://www.last.fm/music/Valerinne):

It will appeal to heavy Math fans (e.g. God Is An Astronaut, Mono) with some interesting spacey layers. The band issued an LP in 2012...

Re: COTM - Feature #94 - Windchase and Mahavishnu Orchestra

Interesting. Never heard of Windchase before, a bit too light hearted for my usual mood but still some involving melodies. At PA the LP is rated below 3...

Re: My (personal) opinion about a mis-use of the Speakeasy.

Your enlightenment is not being very enlightening to me. I was victim of a fraud attempt in 2008 which eventually lead me to be questioned by the judiciary police. I managed to proved I wasn't the...

Re: My (personal) opinion about a mis-use of the Speakeasy.

Past experiences with the law lead me to conclude otherwise. Not to mention the fact that there may not be a way to identify a registered user with a legal entity/person.

Re: My (personal) opinion about a mis-use of the Speakeasy.

Spaz you might be in err on this one. Anyone can register and use the Speakeasy and the Forum at their own will, I doubt you'd get away with this in court, at least in Europe.

But I wouldn't dive...

Re: My (personal) opinion about a mis-use of the Speakeasy.

My apologies if this is a dumb question, but how can you host a show in the Speakeasy? A text based show? I'm at a loss here...

Personally I have Erik in high regard, and doubt he'd do consciously...

Re: DRH.045 - They Did Not Notice Me

Asia with John Wetton was dull enough. I don't get the proghead fascination with this band. But it makes sense in this show, the idea is to digress... Cheers.

Hi mailotron, thanks for replying. I find Tame Impala an interesting band, similar to other bands I listen to like The Amazing and Dungen. But to my ears it is not that similar to Dylan's...

What sounds like Dylan Panek?

Dear all, I've bought Dylan Panek's EP some weeks ago and am now totally hooked. I'm especially moved by the tracks "Alice in Wonderland Syndrome", "Atrophy of the Sky" and "Dystopia". Do you know...

Re: Technical Question for WiFi Hi-Fi Setup

Hi lotus, this is probably not the answer you want, but to hear AM at the living room I'd use a good pair of headphones. The 128 kbit you get from AM is nowhere close to the quality you should feed...

Re: DRH.036 - We're Just Sitting Like Novels We've Picked Up But Never Read Through

And was quite surprised, it turned out to be much better than I expected. This band live is even more engaging than in studio recordings. The way the songs morph from quiet mounings into thunder...
