Talking Heads - Can't go wrong there with Fear of Music. "Electric Guitar/Drugs" is as progressive as anything anyone ever did.

Boston - Ok, not prog, but what a band and what an album! I personally wouldn't call Boston a Tweener, but I think a few (and I mean a few) individual songs might be tweeners. The 12 minute "Walk On" and the triple song "We're Ready/The Launch/Cool the Engines" as well as a few cuts from Third Stage could fit under the limbo stick. I'm not making a case for them or anything. (Spaz jots down a note to play "Walk On" on an epic show soon).
