Boston band Fluttr Effect visits us in our studios for a live performance as well. Fluttr Effect, a female dominated five piece ensemble that features singer Kara Trott, Vessela Stoyanova on midi-controlled marimba, electric cellist Valerie Thompson. On guitar is Troy Kidwell and drums Jason Marchionna. These students of Berklee are amazing live and will appeal to fans of King Crimson and fans of the Dresden Dolls. We witnessed them earlier this year, and this was truly a hypnotizing performance! Join us for this exciting program.
We'll also feature the latest reissue from Bill Bruford in the 1980 album Gradually Going Tornado. Next Saturday, we will feature Bill Bruford's Earthworks reissues as well! We'll feature the excellent new disc from Bassist David Hines featuring Keyboardist Steve Hunt and Guitarist Allan Holdsworth titled Nebula. A must get for fans of fusion and great Bass playing. We'll feature Erik Norlander/Lana Lane NS/Stick player Don Schiff and his new solo album titled Peering Over Clouds.
We'll spotlight Pink Floyd in our 4th Hour Space Out with their 1970 album Saucerful Of Secrets and their 1972 personal favorite Obscured By Clouds. We'll showcase Sleepytime Gorilla Museum and their Grand Opening and Closing, as they make their way through the tri-state area this week.
And we'll feature music from our #1 disc in requests by Porcupine Tree and the new Deadwing!
