Neal Schon!!!
Awesome!
In my not so humble opinion, Neal Schon is probably the single most underrated nad under-appreciated guitarist there is. Always in the shadow of the voice that is Steve Perry, people forget that at fifteen years old he had the task of choosing between joining Santana or Derek and the Dominoes.
Canvas, you must really be on a Schon kick, because last week you played "Rubicon." I was excited to see that come up. Not much after Perry joined is progressive, but a few tracks from Frontiers make the cut in my opinion. It was their most experimental album. I think the tracks "Frontiers," "Troubled Child," and "Back Talk" all pass under the prog-limbo-stick. I'd like to see those played someday. I'm also glad to see some material from Dream After Dream. "Destiny" is a good choice. Journey will always be one of my favs.
Oh, and props to the King's X.
