This also happens to me on both WinXP & Mac Firefox. It's because you took too long to read the article
Whilst you were reading, either/both the WP or shout refreshes caused a new 'page' to be loaded in your browser. This happens on every page that has either shout or WP embedded. If you just sit on the home page all day, you'll see there's tons of 'Aural Moon - Home' pages in your history/Back.

I've noticed this from both the embedded videos, and sometimes from the Clustermap. The Frappr map doesn't seem to cause this, probably because it's Flash and doesn't load until you can see it (it's below the fold for me). Connection is 6meg cable at home and fractional OC3 at work ;-}
