Very nicely done. Ulrich Roth was very flashy with the Scorps, but I saw him after his "religious transformation". He was still good, and threw in Virgin Killer as an encore.
I doubt that David Byrne would like UFO, but we do! I totally agree with your assessment about the live record. Maiden had Doctor Doctor playing over the speakers before they came on.
Another band where I like the live record the best is Thin Lizzy's "Live and Dangerous". One of my most played records.
The answer to the first one is Gamalon. The Reinhardt brothers laid down the beat, and George Puleo supplied the guitar flash, while Bruce Brucato supplied the guitar style. They did a live album with Ernie Watts. Fusion and rock afficionados would love their first (and only?) three studio efforts. Check it out!
