[VAXman(Admin)]

Thank you all for the birthday wishes; they mean so much too coming from such a great group of people.

This birthday was celebrated on Penn State Univ. (PSU) campus. My son Steffen graduates school this year and he is looking for a school to study business. PSU is one of his choices. PSU held an/a open-house/visitation event on the day of my birthday. The weather was wonderful. Somehow, I manage to get a day of decent weather for my birthdays. I don't look for much more.

We arrived home late Wednesday. For some reason, the air conditioner was out. The 30A ganged 220V breaker for the outside compressor had tripped. Perhaps a surge or a brownout during the day. My UPSs and software logged no hits or outages. Anyway, I reset the breaker and all's well. It was pizza that night and late it was. I spent much of the evening with nasty acid reflux. I'm getting nights like this all too often and I'm thinking it due to the Symlin (see the Facts About section) my doctor started me on about 2-3 years ago.

The family went out on Thursday for birthday dinner. I had a candle in my Guinness to celebrate. My daughter took a mobile phone photograph. If she sends it to my, I'll post it.
