Re: A fateful encounter

This happens to me all the time with classical music, to name a few: The Desert Music by Steve Reich, Adjustable Wrench by Michael Torke or Tabula Rasa by Arvo Pärt. There's a bunch more I haven't found yet. I usually listen to classical music on the radio in my car and a lot of times I hear something cool, but don't drive long enough to find out who it was, or forget the name if I do hear it.

Happened with a video once also, I saw a video on TV in Chicago (in the mid 1980s I think) of a concert with Joni Mitchell, Pat Metheny, Lyle Mays, Jaco Pastorius, Michael Brecker and Don Alias, took several years, but I eventually found the Shadows & Light CD and then the DVD later. Prior to seeing that on TV I never knew that lineup played together.
