I agree 100% with merging this - it's one of those cases where indexing would have been a whole lot better than tracking.
However, re. Snard's second comment - IMO it's better to keep one thread per track so that one can see (a) when the job's done... and (b) if the request was agreed to.. much too confusing to have several tracks in one thread..
