Greetings friends.

The signs of spring have burst forth here in the south of the U.S. I know for some of you it perhaps has not yet arrived. But I thought this would be a good week to welcome spring, especially with the holidays here.

Today's show will feature the music of..... (are you ready for it....) Spring.

This is a band that was based in Leicester in the UK. They were discovered purely by chance due to a broken down van. They released their self-titled 1st album in 1971 to a mild success, but they were a prog lovers dream come true with their three mellotrons.

There had been rumors of a 2nd album for quite a while but it was not until 1993 that one was officially released. That was when a CD of that album was released. This album was called Second Harvest and I believe is on par with the first.
