Hello Moonies
This one will be pretty original...
Many french people like me have lived a blessed "animated" childhood. We had the chance to watch a -lot- of animated series in various TV shows on vairous channels. In all these, there were very very good ones, and their quality was also due to the music put into them. And already, some of us could enjoy it, and, some of us, became musicians...
One of these excellent series was called "Ulysse 31" (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ulysses_31). A space odyssey completly inspired from "The Odyssey" with the gods, Télémaque, the Cyclop, and of course, Ulysse himself... The music in this show was a groovy or symphonic progressive rock and it's not really surprising that one day, an old child decided to re-play, re-make it : David COLLIN, or "Parallax".
He went far ! He didn't just "remake" it, he also revisited it. But he also looked for the material/instruments that were used during the original writtings !
He finally, after a lot of work, releases two CD. One for the original one, one for the revisited one. And he made a beautiful collector package with vynils.
For Christmas, all the people who pre-commanded (like me the collector box), received a download link to be able to listen to the pre-finale version of the revisited one. This is just an awesome orgy of prog', nostalgia and quality sound...
Here is the site where you can listen to demos and watch a making of :

Not sure that this could be one day in the Aural Moon library but anyway I think Moonies should listen to that great thing
