Don't you hate those "alternative" rock stations that act so cool and hip as they dish out the latest bland offering from corporate America? What are they the alternative to, anyway? Aren't WE the true alternative?
Anyway. A so-called alternative radio station in San Francisco claims to be expanding their music library. They are asking listeners for suggestions of songs to add. Imagine if they got hundreds, even thousands, of suggestions of PROGRESSIVE ROCK songs!!!
So think of five songs OF RECENT VINTAGE (1995 to the present) that you'd like to add to their radio station. Vermillion's choices were:
"Face to Face" by Yes
"In Memoriam" by Steve Hackett
"The Book of Love" by White Willow
"This is the 21st Century" by Marillion
"Psychedelic Postcard" by The Flower Kings
Then go to
www.radioalice.com and click where it says to. Remember, in order for this to work, the songs must be RECENT--if you choose songs from the 1970s, it will just reinforce their view that progressive rock died around 1978.
