Aural Moonbuds and budettes make a habit of getting together at festivals. There are a whole host of fests in the US that attract loads of my friends but, as of yet, I haven't been able to make one of them. Hopefully that will change next year. However...we have a couple of events scheduled here in the UK this year and it would be a great opportunity to get together for a few days of "socialising".

It's been my pleasure to meet up with some of you here in my home country at a couple of events:

Chippenham 2004 - mossy and Rogor Mortis.
Summers End 2006 - Rick and Roll, VAXman, M and Rogor Mortis.
You forgot the meet ups at the Astoria for Marillion and the Yes gig in Braintree.

The events announced so far are:

1) Frome Prog Festival
13 May 2007
Cheese and Grain, Frome, Somerset.

Featuring Magenta, The Pineapple Thief, Crimson Sky and The Electric Soup.

2) Summers End 2007
September 15th and 16th 2007
Robin 2 Club, Bilston, Nr Wolverhampton.

Acts to be announced but it last year is anything to go by they will be FANTASTIC!!!!

It anyone is interested in making either of these a weekend gathering to remember reply to this thread and I'll get on the case when more details are available.
The SEfest *might* be doable again this year. I wish it would be at the end of Sept. though. The kids just head back to school and there are so many things doing the early part of Sept. That was one of the reasons that we did not go to Sean's festival up in Canada. I would have loved to have gone up to Montreal but that first part of Sept. is just problematic. I guess I'll just have to consider killing off the kids as they interfere with my progging and grogging.
