I'm going to go out on a bit of a limb here.

Hawkwind - Space Ritual Alive - 1973

"The Space Ritual show attempted to create a full audio-visual-cerebral experience, representing themes developed by Barney Bubbles and Robert Calvert entwining the fantasy of Starfarers in suspended animation traveling through time and space with the concept of the music of the spheres."

Now THAT'S a concept!! When we lucky few, sorry Mortis, who went to one of the shows entered the theatre we were handed a fold up sheet with photos and text, written by Barney Bubbles, that outlined the story.

I have to say it was a sonic experience I will never forget........neither will those who came to my 50th Birthday party and witnessed a rather drunken Keithie and Steve moshing to Brainstorm, totally embarrassing TLS Pam who was hiding under a table.

Anyway...that's my 2 pees worth.
