What's the best free Pop-Up Blocker?

Hey all you computer-smart types! What is the best free downloadable pop-up blocker? Specifically, the one that would interfere with the least number of other programs?

Thanks, the Yesspaz.

I use EMS Free Surfer MK2 on one of my home PC's and both EMS and AOL's Pop-up blocker on my other one. Also, I use yahoo's at work. All work OK with some plusses and some minuses. So far, I prefer EMS. Any of them is better then getting endless pop-ups.

AOL's works for me..........

AOL's in built pop up blocker works well for me and it's easy to configure.

I also run "Spyhunter" (You can download it from the net) before I log on. OK, it takes a while but the improvememnt to my system has been amazing.

nope

I used to use SpyHunter, but it interferes with CovenantEyes. So I had to get rid of it and that's why I was looking for another. Been using the Google one suggested above. It's working quite well so far...

hey yesspaz-
(don't i know you from "yesfans"?)

having just too damn much time on my hands,
i discovered that an address can be obtained
from most popups by R clicking.
i'm an audio expert, so i had to find a way
to remove this other than adding another program
running(sonar recommends ditching norton,ect.
for optimal performance, latency problems).

aprox. 95% of popups originate from
a single company, one www.clickspring.com,
which when traced, turns up a cover
daily horoscope site w/ a privacy statement
they "plan to implement in the near future"
to protect their asses.

i picked up an adware, mine was "purityscan"
(there's over 40, the MS "help" file, which is no help,
lists them.)while browsing ebay for a chapman stick,
but kazaa, porno sites, are famous for infecting computers.
you'll find that norton is unable to remove them,
as technically, they show 0 content-
i.e. "nothing to remove".

the barrage of popups that are usually
followed w/ a "stop popups forever"
are from the popstopper company.

R click the S.P.U.F. popup. add the address to
"blocked sites/addresses" in IE.
you'll find that the cookies still accumulate,
but the visuals don't make it through.

find the adware program, usually attached to
the registry. R click, "find containing folder".
it usually can't be removed, but....
it can be renamed! erase the title and type
some crap in. run norton, ect. you'll find it's gone.

i hope this helps.
