Just joined up.......

....and been taking a look round and chilling with the tracks blowing my ears out via a cheap pair of cans (wife's watching telly).

Anyway, I'm seriously into the stuff I'm hearing - great stuff.

So if I may be so bold, could I make a suggestion regarding a request. How about a bit of High Tide !

Well thats my first post. Thanx in advance. This is a great place to be

Dean

P.S. Tony Hill (High Tide) with his band FICTION will be supporting MOUNTAIN at The Camden Underworld on the 23rd Feb 2005 if anyone is up for it, i'll be there

Howdy Fiction. Welcome to the Moon. There's a seperate forum for music suggestions. The "rule" is to title the thread with the name of the artist.

Rise up UK Moonies. You have nothing to lose but your brains....

Welcome to the Moon FictionUK.

I go to the underworld from Time to time. Saw Nektar there last year. If I go to the Mountain gig I'll let you know. It's always a pleasure to meet new Moon Buds.

See you in the Black Box or White Room some time.

well, High Tide isn't a bad suggestion (we don't have any of their stuff on our playlist as yet), but it tends to be expensive, and I personally am not a huge fan of it - it leans towards the psychedelic prog style that I'm not crazy about. That's just a personal preference, not a slam on the band or music. Good violin, if I remember correctly.

If I ever see it cheap, I may pick it up. Or, someone could always donate a CD if they were so inclined. "Sea Shanties" and the self titled are the ones I've heard...
