Gong - Flying Teapot

Hiya,

Firstly, this place is fantastic, never ever before have I actually had a radio station play one of my requests... i'm in love with the automated request system here and thoroughly enjoy listening to the station.

I noticed you have quite a lot of Gong music on your playlist, which is brilliant, but you seem to be missing the first of the Radio Gnome Invisible trilogy, the Flying Teapot album - probably one of the best albums they've made. Actually another great addition to your playlist would probably be Camembert Electrique. A bit more psychedelic but definitely has progressiveness about it, in tracks such as "Fohat Digs Holes In Space". Would it be possible for this to be added to the playlist please?

Cheers,
Adam

It's certainly a possibility, but with limited funds and a long list of requests and other items we're trying to get on the playlist, it may be awhile. We'll try...

Re: Gong - Flying Teapot

Welcome Adam.............you'll find that there are a lot of Gong fans around here on the lunar surface.

As Jim says new music is being added all the time but it's an expensive business so the solution is if you want an album added to the playlist donate it to the Moon. Make sure that it's something that Jim (as program director) is willing to add.......no Britney Spears PLEASE!!!! Then get hold of the CD. (Originals, no Copies or Burns, to comply with the law). Then send it to Jim. In due course it will appear on the playlist for everyone to request and you can sleep peacefully in the knowledge that you have bought joy into loads of homes..................unless it's a GY!BE album (sorry Spaz, couldn't resist that one )
