If I remember right, the Kansas song is live with an orchestra. I'm sure about the orchestra, not sure about the live. I think it was shortly after Steve Walsh's vocal surgery, by the sound of it.

Now that's quite the lineup. I might spend some of my pool money on this one...

High praise indeed.

So can I get a quickie review here? A couple of tracks grabbed my attention:
  • Kansas - Song for America: Is this the same version that we have on the moon or is it a different version?
  • That CGT chart: Does it rock as much as just about everything else they've even pondered doing?
  • The IQ track: is this Pre-Martin Orford's influence or post?

If we could get a blow-by-blow review, I, for one, would truly appreciate it.

Roger -Dot- Lee, on a bit of a limited budget for a few weeks...

Moses' post (#6) explains the Kansas (I had the same question myself)

I've seen CGT live, up close a few times. Anything they do live is wonderful. Especially Classical Gas and the Good/Bad/Ugly theme

I was under the impression that Orford was on almost all IQ's stuff...but I'm too lazy to check. good question...

Re: A good looking album that will do some good......

The IQ track is previousley un-released and is odd.

Performers are listed as Michael Holmes - ProTools plug-ins; Atmosphere, Stylus RMX and Trilogy, Pete Nicholls - Vocals sampled from the IQ Track "Subterranea".

I like it.
