Alaska Prog Duo

How about adding the prog duo Alaska to the play list? Alaska existed for a about a year and consisted of John O'hara on keys and Al Lewis (not of Munster fame) on drums and vocals. They recorded one CD: Alaska. Information is available at www.alaskasongs.com.

I believe Al went on to become the newest front man for Starcastle.

Is that all they did? Wow. I saw them at Progday 98...wonderful.

There may be a song on the playlist. I played Tianamen (sp) Square on my show and I I believe it was added. I'll check.

Yep. Two live songs. If I had the record I'd upload it, but I don't.

Re: Alaska Prog Duo

Rick: Thanks, I saw the two songs on the play list. They were an interesting duo. I know John from many years ago and had the opportunity to play with him on a few occasions. He is a very talented, albeit somewhat eccentric, man.

I have a copy of the CD, may I assist?

That's a question for our owner and program director, Jim Brennan. He's a busy man, but you've accessed the correct format for asking.

Let's see how it goes.....

The basic rule is that we require a copy of the actual CD, but, if you know John and he gives us permission to play his music, we could accept a CD-ROM copy. I'll send you a PM with my address...

Thanks!
