For Theme Thusdays

Mossy suggested I should have a thread posted for MOONies to lookup the curently running themes on Thursday. So here it is, hope this is a convenience for you all.
This is all new to me (my first thread)

so it looks like today 8/3/06 we shall do songs that are 2m30s or shorter
we need as many moonies to place reqs as possible so we don't get fillers from SAM

Is this also where we could/should suggest themes? Us left coasters appreciate a chance along with all the peeplz to the right.

Here would be a great Place to post the Theme and Date. With the Shoutbox now only going Back from time of sign on, We can no longer see the early Morning Shouts. I love the interaction from Moonies that this brings.

must be your first thread i see 8 post in your info....great idea to have a thread! thank you mossy/Gort. and splendid suggestion avian at first thought but then again maybe not. it could get ugly

keep the thread, save the 3 idea for maybe an anniversary or holiday day.

I was going to suggest a way to collect theme ideas. I would then put up the theme as a frontpage news item. Anyone visiting the site could them see it. This would also give a fair shake to those all around the globe wanting to offer up a suggestion for a theme.

Someone suggested on Thursday that we have a "no song over 2:30" theme for a day. I thought that was a great idea since there are several short songs I have never heard on the Moon that fall in that category.

Theme suggestion for this Thu 8/3: mythical locations - Avalon, The Shire, Valhalla, etc - and Ditch 9 of Dante's 8th Circle for the fruit & nut crew.
