Show 99 - "New and Old"
Not the most inventive title for a show, but I didn't have much of an option.
Something a bit different to start off the show, live music from DVD's: Robin Trower - Day of the Eagle / Bridge of Sighs 14:35 Not sure of the dates, but it has the great davey Pattison on vocals, I'm guessing about 10 yrs old. Jimi Hendrix / Band of Gypsies - Power of Soul 6:53 From 1970, a treat.... Pretenders - Fools Must Die / My City Was Gone 9:40 From 2003 I believe, contains a fantastic guitar lead. Hot Tuna - Good Shepherd, Water Song 11:11 Two of my favorite Jorma moments, play them as often as I can And now a complete CD: Niacin - High Bias (1998) 69:05 High Bias Birdland Slapped Silly Montuno Revenge Cool to the Touch Darkside It's the Little Things Soul Diversion Who Cares If It's Raining Hang Me Upside Down Novello, Chambers, Sheehan. Enough said. from "Atavism of Twilight" (1992) Pillar of Salt 7:23 The Appearance of Gazoo 11:35 Two instrumentals from the four-track CD - has Aaron Kenyon (now with Djam Karet) on bass. from "Coming Through" (Ryo Okomoto) (2003) Godzilla vs. King Ghidarah 7:18 The Farther He Goes, The Farther He Falls 5:43 Coming Through 5:21 A monster instrumental, a Nick D. song, and a Neal Morse number. Thanks to Sharc for the heads up. KBB - Live Outtakes 2004 (from Tokyo) Backside Edge 10:40 40 Degrees 4:44 I Am Not Here 9:49 A bonus mini-disc the band gave out with a purchase of their "Four Corners Sky" CD at this year's Nearfest. Great stuff. Last edited by Rick and Roll : 09-20-2006 at 07:41 PM. |
