For all you Tull fans out there........

Jethro Tull is a very popular band on aural Moon and I know a lot of ardent fans in Moon land. Rick and Roll is very into the band as am I.

I've been looking around the net and have found a few really good sites dedicated to Tull and thought I'd share them with you.

For a very concise history of the band this entry from wikipedia is really good. As well as a history of the band there are links to most, if not all, the albums.

Tull's or, to be more accurate, Ian anderson's, lyrics have always been fascinating and this site goes deeper into their (possible) meaning. It IS just one persons slant on them but does make for some fascinating reading. If you have a spare couple of days you may enjoy reading them. There are also articles on books about the band and a whole treasury of rare and forgotten video clips of the group over the years. Jan Voorbij should be congratulated for his dedication in creating such a wonderful site.

As most Tull fans know, the name Jethro Tull comes from a 17th/18th Century agriculturalist called, surprise, surprise, Jethro Tull. Here is a little more information on that man. Again it's from wikipedia.

That should keep you busy for a while but if that's still not enough then check out the band's own "official" site at:

I have to give thanks to Dana on the "The Dividing Line" site for pointing me back in the direction of these articles. I had seen them before but had forgotten just how good they were.

One thing this does prove, however, is that I really do need to get out more.......

Happy reading Moonbuds/budettes.
