Show 126 - Rosfest 2007

On Aural Moon, Sunday April 22, 8-11 PM EST and Monday April 23, 1-4 PM EST

Hi everyone, here's a taste of 10 of the 11 bands to play at this year's (Rites of Spring Festival) Rosfest 2007. The 11th, Tempustry, does not have a CD on the Moon, but I will pick it up from Allen Brunelle at the show.

Next week I will showcase past performers of the festival.

Leading off with an alliteration of S's...is....

Starcastle:

Sunfield (1976)
Shadows of Song (1977)
Song of Times (2007)

Puppet Show:

The Ring of Truth (1998)
Seasons (2007)

Pendragon:

Sister Bluebird (1991)
Breaking the Spell (1993)
Paintbox (1996)

Carptree:

Malfunction (2003)
Tilting the Scales (2005)

Galahad:

Exorcising Demons (1995)
Ocean Blue (1998)

Rocket Scientists:

Pay Your Dues (2006)
Aqua Vitae Medley (1999)

Retroheads:

Urban Flight Delight (2004)
Tidal Wave (2006)

Spock's Beard:

On A Perfect Day (2006)
Skeletons At The Feast (2006)

Magic Pie:

Motions Of Desire (2005)
Full Circle Poetry (2005)

Some meaty cuts, tried to include a decent crossection (or vivisection). And picked some that I've not heard......let's see what happens!

Oh hell! Now you've done it! You've gone and offended the anti-vivisectionists!

Interesting, I was reading about the Mute Swans, who in MD we're killing slowly becuase they destroy the ecosystem. And some are up in arms because they're "pretty"....Yet when a similar bird was not indigineous to the area and they erradicated them, no one cared....

so i guess I'll piss off somebody

I just wanted a chance to use that story I thought it was interesting...

It was to put emphasis on the anti. Next time, I'll bold and underline too.

I am utterly vivified!

But now I'll be able to hear what I'll be missing.

Thanks for the preview!
