Blast from the Past- BOC show

I felt the need to thank Rick & Roll for his Blue Oyster Cult show the other night. He took me right back to my glory days and we were able to share some related stories from our youth. There was also at least one member who shared that BOC was new to him and because of Rick's show, he was going to explore the BOC catalog. I like that he is thinking out of the box and expanding some horizons and refreshing others. Rick mentioned several other ideas he had in mind for shows. Bands that might be on the fringes of prog, and had been overlooked by the radio in the past. The bands he mentioned were all rock gods in the their own right. I cannot wait for future shows.
Thanks and keep up the good work.

Hey Rickster.....just a thought as a mate, eh?

Maybe 3 hours of one artist is a little OTT.

Perhaps you could hold (my) attention more if you did these as a "double whammy" and feature two artists rather than just the one. A little of what you fancy does you good.

i agree. I caught the last hour of the Sunday show and it was fine. Monday was OTT.

I really like your shows (and Sean & Moses & Cozy & ...) that have a theme tying multiple artists together. Song titles, shared artists, country, year, label, etc. More musical variety, and some brain fodder to boot.

Rick, Thanks for the show. I think I had a flash back. So much so, that I dug out my old BOC records and played another two hours worth that day. Keep up the good work.

Re: Blast from the Past- BOC show

I like the idea of splitting the show between two bands. That would keep things fresh. Regardless..keep up the good work and thanks for taking the time to put things together for our entertainment and AM Mojo.
