Dave Archer Joins Us, New Mats/Morgan, New Tangent Tonight

Join the GAGLIARCHIVES, tonight at 10pm Eastern Time, for program
1043, as we feature an exclusive interview with Dave Archer of Dave Corp. Dave joins us to discuss their latest offering titled The Sweet Life.
We'll feature new live music the Mats/Morgan band titled Heat Beats Live. We'll also track the new Tangent double CD titled Not As Good As The Book, new progressive metal from Voyager titled Univers and we'll feature music from Bone as they make their way to the Orion in Baltimore, MD on 02/16 along with Hugh Hopper. We'll also track our #1 CD for the 4th week in a row based off your requests in The Wrong Object and the Stories From The Shed CD.
I wanted to thank those that support the radio program all these years. For years we have tried to make this a program that is what 'real' prog rock/fusion radio shows should be doing to keep their fans informed of what is happening week to week within the genre than just playing Yes or Pink Floyd. After seeing the poll launched last week and the comments about it has made us come to the realization that maybe we aren't for Aural Moon. I guess we can understand that people want to hear the same old stuff. But for those that contact us regularly and enjoy it, thanks for making this fun week to week. We'll decide what we should do in the meantime.
Thanks again.

Re: Dave Archer Joins Us, New Mats/Morgan, New Tangent Tonight

I enjoyed the show last night. Well, at least the 1.5 hours I was able to listened to, which included the Dave Archer interview. I really liked their material. I had not heard them before. I'll definitely have to get their work. I look forward to the rebroadcast later this week.

Please do not take the criticisms from last week as gospel as to how all the listeners feel about your show. There were only a handfull of folks making suggestions on improvements while you always have a very large listening base (over 100, usually higher than 120) from our site. That does not constitute a majority.

Also, in our discussions, Vax has a plan to eleviate one of the major concerns, and that was sound quality. That will make a huge difference in how folks react to the show.

And where else can we learn about http://www.dontpassgas.org/.
(I really thought that was a joke until I went to the website.)

I support what our administration suports, and they are behind you all the way. That's not to say we don't have suggestions for ways to improve how things work here. But that said, I will support your program here on the AM. You are an intrical part of the Progressive Rock World and we are very lucky to have you.

Also know that I, for one (and I know many others also feel this way), am not content with just Yes and Pink Floyd. I'm a big fusion fan and I'm always looking for new groups. We all want to find that "new gem" that further explores our favorite genres. Thank you for helping us in that respect. You should come by and listen on Friday's when we have an informal "Fusion Friday." It's a great mix of fusion (requested by those that like this genre) mixed in with our wide volume of Prog for those that don't particularily like fusion. Makes for really interesting listening.

Keep up the good work.
