Interzone - 3/11/08: Hard-Rock & Proto-Prog V

Hey Moonies!

This week I’m going to be continuing an ongoing series of shows focusing on some of the formative music from the turn of the 70s in styles of hard-rock, blues-rock, folk-rock, and proto-prog. This series of show will explore the rock scene from the turn of the 70s a little more in depth, primarily playing music from 1969-1972.

BUDGIE!!!!!!!! Excellent....

Those Wishbone Ash tracks are definitely some of the "Proggiest" music they recoded.

One endearing quality of Budgie is naming songs in a weird fashion. Usually you need an instrumental tune to pull it off.
