Ayreon Joins Us, New Zelda Pinwheel, New Hugh Hopper Tonight

Join us for program 1057 as we feature an exclusive interview with Dutch composer and musician Arjen Anthony Luccasson better known as Ayreon. Ayreon joins us to disc his latest conceptual release titled 01011001 and features a who’s who of fine musicians.

Tonight we'll premiere the new disc from Philadelphia band Zelda Pinwheel titled Our Diamonds So Quiet. We’ll also feature music from Jozef Skrzek’s East Wind as they prepare for online concert this Sunday. We’ll feature the latest offering from Royal Hunt and the disc Collision Course. Also a new collaborative disc in our 4th Hour Space Out from the great Hugh Hopper and Yumi Hara Cawkwell titled Dune.

We’ll spotlight on our #1 CD for the third straight week based on your requests in Magenta and the new album Metamorphosis. We'll continue on with our features from our Nearfest archives as the 10th anniversary approaches. Tonight we'll spotlight Nearfest 2002 as Miriodor brought down the house with their stellar performance.
