Aural Moon Conference in Tokyo second edition
The day before yesterday, April 11 was the second rendezvous day for Kazuhiro and me (DamoXt7942).
For the previous meeting we couldn't have enough time to discuss about progressive rock and whisky ![]() this time I hurried through my work and leaped aboard the Shinkansen Express, for Tokyo, my dream city. I could arrive at Meguro, Tokyo three hours earlier than our previous meeting. Yea, of course, with my NEW digital camera. ![]() Kazu came there out of breath. (Hehe, no need to hurry up!) Wow, I felt again what a nice cookie Kazu was! Whoa, I looked like a feeble sheep. :P This time the meeting place was Ban-Ban-G, a cool live spot in Meguro. (There Kazu has made a gig once upon a time...you bet, he's a brilliant drummer! ![]() Full of discussions about progressive rock and alcoholic drinks were in front of us and we needed much time to dig into them out. Well...I shouted "Your prog quiz is too difficult for us Moonies to solve!". He tittered triumphantly but didn't try to let me know the answer, d'oh! :P And another hot point is about Japanese progressive rock. We fought and battled against each other with our honest opinions... YUDEMEN by Happy End was one of the first rock oriented productions in Japan...or Magical Power Mako might be f**kin' crazy and make a light of rock business, but I said he was a clever guy and exactly a strategist... (I appreciate kazu could make an effort to get Mako's first work "Magical Power" for me.) However, sadly we Japanese might know very little about Japanese, our native progressive rock. In another nation they know quite a little about their native prog...what a shame for us. ![]() At last we and the shop managers had a long, long discussion about rock, session, and our background...till the closing time. We all promised the next Moon conference would open here again. Gordon & Macphail's Glen Grant 21 years old had very nice flavour and taste for us after the conference. ![]() http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/inde...albumId=255760

Re: Aural Moon Conference in Tokyo second edition
Thank you very much! Damo san!
We were able to spend very significant time. I might have gotten drunk with the whisky at time of taking the photograph of commemoration. I was able to confirm love and knowledge to your music again by your story. It was able to have the conversations of music other than prog rock at our conference. However, there is no border in all music. It is felt that it is always wonderful. Of course, we told the story of aural moon. And, I am a little shameful to seeing the photograph that got drunk and was taken. ) We will be able to advance the conference further by convenience each other. And, it is possible to report on the situation of prog rock of Japan in this place. I always hope for it.
