![]() I just had enough. After years going through all sort of trouble to get the CD of my favourite musicians and bands, either waiting countless months and/or putting up with outrageous prices, this last weekend I just had the last drop.
After finally realizing the exquisite geniality of the first LP by the Cosmic Jokers, I just wanted to get it. No point trying here in this God forsaken stripe of land, so I hit the wholesalers, and guess what they are asking for it : 80€! Yes you hear it right: eighty-m*th*er-f*ck*ng-euros. What's most outrageous about this is that this is a record from which the musicians get 0€, their authoring rights being stolen back in the 1970s. I had previously paid 40€ for Ash Ra Tempel's first LP, but this is just too much. Screw them record companies! Shove your copyrights were you seem fit! The MP3 you download from the internet don't have the quality to be played on a serious HiFi, but I won't cohibit myself any more from getting music by means not approved by these crooks.

Re: Illegal music
Unfortunately it's probably not illegal to ask the price however bloated. The thing to do is to unilaterally boycott such sellers. So the earning of zero is equally distributed.
