COTM - #57 - Gordon Giltrap
Greetings Mooniverse.
I hope everyone that was able to attend ROSfest had a great time. Reports indicate another banner festival. Wish I could have been there. Meanwhile, back on the radio, I'm starting a short series of artists that have double G initials. I start off with Gordon Giltrap. Gordan came out of the Folk Prog camp among such others as Mike Oldfield, Bert Jansch and John Renbourn. His albums date back to 1968, but we are going to pick up with the 1976 album Visionary. Here he began a more symphonic sound that attracted a lot of attention. We will also feature his next album Perilous Journey from 1977, which was possibly his most popular work. I hope you can join us. Dale
