Show 13 - "Additions"

This week we've got songs that were added to the Moon in the past month or two. A lot of these are new to me. And I like!

I picked the longest songs and sampled them first. So some of these are lengthy. There may be better tunes added, so request away when you can!

1) Khan - Space Shanty
2) Khan - Stranded

Sweatin' to the oldies with Hillage and Stewart....

3) Infinity - Lover's Delight

A really nice little tune.

4) Kennedy - Explorer 1958 Alpha

Sort of a wankfest, but dynamic.

5) Barry Cleveland - Black Diamond Express

Smooth number.

6) Mystery - Shadow of the Lake

Long piece with some elements of Rush and neo-prog.

7) Finneus Gauge - One Inch of the Fall

Chris Buzby's (Echolyn) project. A definite National Health jazzy feel to it.

8) Theory of One - Ergo

Frankly, I've forgotten what this sounded like! I know it's good.

9) French TV - Viable Tissue Matter

These guys put me to sleep live (think I was drunk), but they're kind of cool. 12 minutes to get you a good taste. And a bass solo to boot in the middle.

10) Vladimir Badirov Project - Cold Passion

The "project" gives this music type away.

11) Trap - Insurrection

This one's got a Tool flavor to it, a definite edge. Also has 90 seconds of silence at the end.

12) Network - The Hellical Friction Principal

I hope they meant "principle". Even though I know some principals from hell. Neat tune.

13) Jon Durant - An Afternoon Entangled

Kind of soft in spots, very melodic.

14) Martin Maheux Circle - Red Shift

Quirky stuff.

15) Toccata - Anunima Existencia

There's a LOT going on in this one. The title may be unlabeled so it may look like "Untitled Tune". Unchained melody it's not!

16-21) Minimum Vital - Hydromel, Dans Le Doute, Ronde, A Bien Des Egards, Retour An Domaine, Zappata!

Picked this "2 in 1" CD up by coincidence the same day Jim added it to the moon. It's awesome. Had a hard time shoosing which ones to play.

22) Chance - From Here To Infinity

Good closing tune. Very vibrant.

If you like them request some more!

More info on this group, album, where the download came from, etc. would be greatly appreciated! It was awesome, twice

PS: great show Rick! A lot I liked, some I really liked, some stretched my mind a tad...
