Request Time Limit Now 60 Minutes

Hey guys,

Due to an overwhelming number of requests, and our desire for to give everyone a chance to hear their requests in a reasonable amount of time, the request time limit has been extended to 60 minutes. That means that after you make a request, you won't be able to make another one for 60 minutes.

Don't try and make a request before you are certain that your 60 minutes are up, because if you do, the "clock" will reset, and then you'll have to wait yet another 60 minutes from your failed request.

I hope this will help those of you who have been waiting to hear your favorite songs.

On a related note, due to the overwhelming number of requests for Yes and Genesis songs (hey we love 'em as much as you do, but we have a huge library of other great stuff), Jim has been "editing" the number of requests for these groups to allow other music to filter through. So, if you're requesting Yes or Genesis on weekday afternoons, there are occassions when your request might be passed up if there's a lot playing on the station then.
