Interzone - April 19, 2005: Three Featured Artists

Helloooooo,

Please join me for another week of Interzone. This week I’ll be highlighting three featured artists you might otherwise commonly hear on this program. The Featured Artists show will pop up time and again to highlight those I wish to give further attention to.

First, I’ll be playing some tracks from legendary jazz drummer Tony Williams and his LifeTime band of the late 60s/early 70s. Then we move on to Belgium to pay homage to one of today’s great avant-garde jazz artists, Aka Moon. Anybody who knows me, knows how much I love these guys. Lastly, we will spend some time with the Dutch jazzy-symphonic rock outfit, Focus.

If you were ever curious about these three artists, this is the week to check them out.

Hope you can join me...

- Cozy

re: Birth

Yeah, I'm a big Focus fan. This show is pretty full, but sometimes I feel like I need several more hours to play everything that comes to mind!
