Smile New Listener and this is GREAT!!

I'm an x 60-70's musician (Bass Player) and was very much into Prog Rock and Jazz-Fusion. Worked in a record store for 12 years and music was ALL. Been settled into my current job for 20 years and I'm now finding my way back to the music. WinMX got me into Symphony X, Dream Theater, Ayreon, Evergrey, Spock's Beard and others. Becuase of WinMX, I've purchased about 20 CD's over the last 3 months. I was doing a search on Threshold that led me here. I had never even thought about Prog Radio. Looks like I've got a new home.

Welcome. We think you'll find a lot to like here - over 16,500 pieces of music, and growing all the time. And we have a nice community of listeners as well. We hope you stay!

Jim

Thanks and I plan on it...

I'll tell ya, Hearing Van Der Graaf was pretty wild. I haven't heard them in a long time. All of my records are packed against a wall and my stereo is disconnected. I moved some stuff around the house and never got to hook it back up. I've got about 800 LP's from the 60's-80's. I started doing transfers to CD a while ago and it's time to start again. Rejuvinated!!!

At age 54, I thought I should be listening to Tony Orlando.........uh?.......whoever that is. Have A Great Day and THANKS for the acceptance here.

OK... We'd best stop this here before it gets carried away into some silly Monty Pythonesque "argument sketch".

Air Conditioners, not the peppermint patties, though at times I wish it were. I could eat 'em all day. It's the name I use for work from home and I don't like having a bunch of names and passwords........

I posted before reading yours...that must be York Heating and Air Conditioning? Always a big advertiser.

As for rick and roll, it's as simple as it sounds.
