Talking Dweezil & ZPZ on Rockline

Great (albeit kinda short) interview with Dweezil regarding ZPZ, followed by a great live in studio performance by ZPZ & Ray White. Dweez wails on this IMHO as does Ray et. al., complete with a "song o' the day" theme suggested by a caller from Menominee MI (they do this audience supplied song theme in concert, I believe it was "I love apples" this year in Motown, Ray is great at making up lyrics on the spot). I've seen ZPZ twice in Detroit now, once with Bozzio & Vai as special guests and once with Ray as special guest, and both times they were great and hardly any (if any) overlap of FZ's music between the shows over the last two years. Hope y'all enjoy it as much as I did, I got the link from killuglyradio.com. From the blurb there with the link:

"The file is about 101Mb, so please download directly to your hard disc (right-click, save as) instead of listening online. Bandwidth is a costly commodity…"

Set list:

Pygmy Twylyte
Duprees Paradise (beginning)
"I left My Heart In Dayuper's Outhouse" (song o' the day interstitial jam)
Duprees Paradise (ending)
City Of Tiny lights
Willie The Pimp
Dog Meat (Dog Breath Variations variation from Uncle Meat)
G-Spot Tornado

Really great performance and really good sound as well for a radio spot IMHO although you may need to boost the volume when the band plays (I did ). Enjoy Zappa fans...
