The Healing Road - "Tales from the dam" pre-listening

Hi everyone,

I decided to make another album. I just want to make an old dream come true. If I will be able to realize it, this will be a 12"LP (including a CD-R in Vinyl-Style with the same material, for those who don't have a record player and for easy copying to computers and mp3 players). On each side of the LP there will be just one piece of music, each about 22 minutes long. Like the Oldfield - albums of the 70s that I love so much.

Part 1 is ready for the mastering, Part 2 is about 17 minutes long right now and I'll write and record the last part of it in the next weeks. Andy Horn (who mixed and mastered "Timanfaya") will do the mastering. I hope that manufacturing will start in November.

Everyone who's interested can listen to the complete BUT UNMASTERED (turn up the volume, the sound of the final version will be better) first LP-Side here:

Musicians:

Claus Flittiger - guitars
Thommy Frank - guitars
Matthias Zalepa - guitars
Gilbert Cyppel - guitars
Stefan Dittmar - Drums & Percussion
Hermann Voges - Countertenor
Hanspeter Hess - Keyboards, Roland V-Drums

Kind regards and thanks for listening,
hans

Side 2 of the LP is finished. You can listen to the unmastered 128 kbit - file here (the final version will sound better!):

Musicians:
guitars - Gilbert Cyppel, Thommy Frank, Claus Flittiger
keys, drums, programming - myself

Tomorrow morning I'll send the album to the guy who will do the mastering.

Tired but happy,
hans

Another disc! Wow...(or should I say "dam")...I missed your original post - July 4 I see why now

This will be wonderful to hear. "Tired but Happy"...a great slogan.

Had to look up countertenor.....

His name is David Lee...not to be confused with the Van Halen countertenor

Hans, this will be (and already is) a great record. Just listening to the second part. Well, Part one and two are already on iPod.., but I hope to get the remastered version soon...
