Question Intrigue!!

I've been listening to AM every day for months now and I never cease to be amazed by the variety of music that gets aired. I am intrigued though to know if you know what the most requested bands and/or tracks are.

Is there any way you can let me know? I see Yes, Genesis, Tull feature a lot but that's only to be expected I guess.

Thanks for a GREAT station.

Regards to all for the coming season of Peace and goodwill to all mankind!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, we had that feature for awhile. But it became meaningless and took it down.

There are people out there who request the _same song_ every day (even around the same time). Yes, I find it hard to believe too. This baffles us, but no amountof pleading can stop this. Of course, this biases the statistics.

There are bands or friends of bands who get on and request their band a bazzilion times to promote themselves. This is especially true if we actually post what the most requested tracks are.

Some websites direct their visitors here. While we wholeheartedly encourage that, those folks, as you might imagine, are apt to request the band the website deals with. Again, it skews the actual results of wanting to get what the "average" AM listener is requesting.

So, be very, very aware of these things when you see this feature on others' websites.
