yes i was listening....indeed a good year. i remember hearing Maxaphone and trying my best to hunt down that lp ...never found it ...flash forward to 1996, went into the Salvation Army store to score some books and peruse the lps and there she was Maxaphone ...could hardly believe it, and it plays well.

Jazzy crap.

Yeah, Maxophone is a great album. I'm glad to see it finally sort of 'vaulted' to a first tier Italian band status (behind the heavy hitters). It get mentions a lot more often than it used to when people ask for Italian recs.
