The History Of Aussie Prog 1960-1979
Hi Guys
A lot of you have asked me is there a prog scene in Australia today?. Well to be as honest as i can be not really. Tody here in Australia there are only a few bands whom i think would be classified as prog. But back in the 1960's and 70's there was a thriving prog scene here. Prog was very popular back in the 60's and 70's. Like many countries Australia had its fair share of prog bands. Long Songs and great solos and fine lyric writing was the order of the day back then. Evie parts 1 and 2 and 3 are fine examples of prog back in the day. |

Well maybe things are not that bad at all...
Since you play some instruments maybe you should found your very own prog band and start a NWOPR (New Wave Of Progressive Rock) in Australia. ![]()
