Interzone in 2008

Hello all!

I am just writing to let everyone know that I'll be doing my best to continue Interzone in 2008. As mentioned in the previous threads, I had some personal issues that forced the show to take a back seat. But with that said, I apologize for not communicating that better with the admin/listeners. I tend to keep such things private.

Anyway, in picking up where I've left off, I've just finished compiling the material for the next 6 programs (5 new and 1 replay). The first of which (the replay) I can get on the air for this Tuesday the 5th.

The first four programs will be my year-end retrospective. I've compiled a 4-part program that covers "What's New" in 2007. The music covers the spectrum usually found on Interzone programs, so along with your typical progressive rock, there will be strong leanings towards jazz, the avant-garde, and a bit of a modern rock take. It will feature music from over 65 artists.

The last two programs will include next installments of "jazz-rock" and "hard-rock/proto-prog" respectively.

Thanks for listening...

- Cozy

Re: Interzone in 2008

Great to have you back. Looking forward to the retrospectives, as it just happens to coincide with our upcoming vote/poll for best of 2007.

You So Smart!!!

On a personal note, you know you only have about 100 sets of ears that would be more than happy to listen to you should you ever need on open ear to talk to. And I would believe most of them come with the accompaning shoulders to cry on and arms for hugs if you need them. I myself have been to h - e - double toothpicks and back a few too many times. So count me near the head of the line for you!

Welcome back and let's rock! (progressively, of course)

If it's too much for now, consider doing a bi-weekly or once a month show.

Cozy, family must come first. Just take it as read that your friends here on The Moon will still be here when the next show is aired.

I hope things are sorting out the way they should.

Re: Interzone in 2008

Thanks for the support everyone. Fortunately most of the crappy stuff is behind us (except for a recent bout of the flu...heh), but it means a lot that I'd have somewhere to unload if I need to.

The show is always a good distraction. If it does nothing else, it forces me to examine my collection a lot closer which is a nice side effect.
