Article on Squire in Huff Post

Here's a nice article on Chris Squire in the Huffington Post.

Thanks Yaz, a fun read. I think Jon and Benoits versions are just a little different...

I saw Yes last night. My review is among the comments to the Squire article.

Could you post it here? I didn't see it there, and don't really want to dig for it.

As requested.

Saw Yes last night at Casino Rama. I was expecting a dim image of their 70's glory, and was pleasantly surprised by their sound, energy, and vocals ( as good as Jon A's in his heyday.)They were as good as I remember them from 1974. Squire's back up vocals are consistently under appreciated.
If you closed your eyes it was hard to tell that it was a new Jon. I miss
Wakey though. Downes did a great job, especially on Awaken, but he's not Rick. I also used to miss Bruford but not anymore. Nothing stays the same, especially Yes.
The biggest and best improvement to their live shows compared to the 70's is better sound engineering, which keeps getting better and better.
Fly from Here sounded better live than studio, perhaps due to Jon D.? Easily their best since Going For the One, but nowhere near Fragile or Close to the Edge.

In my opinion, it's the music, not necessarily the musicians that counts the most. If it were the other way around we wouldn't be listening to Beethoven anymore.

As to the personal issues between band members, I prefer to stay totally neutral. It's really none of my business, and no fan will ever completely know the whole story.
