Athavale is one of those names that is not pronounced like it's spelled (like Favre) ... It's "Ah-tuv-lay" . He was a one hit wonder from Winnipeg. Won a local jazz radio contest, produced a disc and was never heard from again that I know of. I hope you like his one hit :-)
