Camel's Earthrise played today but the cover and the name that were in the "Now playing" box on the main page were Klaus Schultze - Mirage, IOMA reissued in 2005. Just wanted to tell you. I recognized the song but some newcomers would probably not have.

Is the song Earthrise by Camel from an album called "Mirage?" (don't know my Camel well.) If so then ALL songs by that album will say Klaus Schultze - Mirage. When adding cover art to tags one has to be careful not to apply it to all albums with the same name, ala King Crimson's and Mike Oldfield's "Islands."

oops

Something about the tracks from this artist:
Kalaniemi, Maria & Sven Ahlbäck

from this album:
Ilmajousi - Luftstråk

zonk out the WPN window. I think it's the little accent that looks like a degree symbol over the last "a".

ELP - Black Moon

In my search for this song, it seems this was omitted from the station. I am uploading it, in case you need it.

Just pick it off the receiving file if that is the case.

Steve Morse

There are two songs listed twice under Steve Morse from the same cds:

Majorly Up (maybe ripped twice?)
Natural Flow (looks like one is a bad rip)

what makes you think one is a bad rip? That will help me delete the "incorrect" one...

the length...

The playlist shows one at 13 seconds.

Also, Klaus Schulze is shown as the artist for all the cuts on Camel's "Mirage" cd. The cut I heard today, "Nimrodel / The Procession / The White Rider" was clearly Camel. It was correct at one time...

This thread is too big

Elric mentioned the Camel/Klaus metamorphosis also.

And some things mentioned never get attended to (or get asked multiple times).

Can we retire this one and start another?

Is the Klaus Schulze cd titled Mirage? If so, when whoever added the disc hit "apply to album" it applied the Artist name, Year, and album cover if applicable to all songs from an album named "Mirage." When "Apply to Album" is clicked, it takes you to a window to de-select certain tracks. This is a problem with KC and Oldfield's "Islands." Also, KC and Kansas' "Masque."

If I were to add a picture of a basketball as the cover to Mike Oldfield's Islands, then apply to album without deselecting King Crimson's Islands, then all tracks from both albums would have a picture of a basketball and say "Oldfield, Mike" in their tags.

In other words, all that needs to happen to fix this is for someone to open one track from the Camel album, change the tag so that it says Camel in the artist field where it currently says Schulze, Klaus, change the cover, hit "apply to album," deselect the tracks from Klaus Schulze's album, and hit OK.

I'm a school now. I can do this when I get home unless R.L, Vax, or Jim beat me to it.

Magenta

There seems to be a few duplications in the playlist for Magenta.

Gamalon cover

A song just played from "Live At the Tralf". However, the album cover was their second record, "Aerial View".

Not sure what cover Live At the Tralf has.

Amazon doesn't have a cover. It's close enough for government work, in my opinion. If you can come up with a better one, put it somewhere where I'll be able to find it and I'll do the cover tango thing with it.

Islands

SAM just picked King Crimson's "Formentera Lady" but it seems to me that it was a ten-minute version without the lyrics. In other words, I believe Islands played instead.

I wasn't paying full attention though, it might have been something else. I know it wasn't Formentera Lady though.
