Pat Metheny

Do you think that some of his music would sit nicely here on AM?

I'm thinking of his collaberations with Lyle Mays like "As falls Witcheta, so falls Witcheta falls", "First Circle" and the live "Travels".

I've been considering adding some Pat for awhile - still trying to sort out where to draw the line between jazz and prog....

PM on AM

Metheny's a little quiet for me, but it seems that in terms of prog, it's not much different from having RTF of Ponty on the playlist. Seems like you could do it without opening up Pandora's Box.

As Falls Wichita is a great album, there might be a couple of things that would fit, at the right time in the playlist. American Garage would also have some usable cuts. it would be good to hear some Metheny occasionally, and Lyle Mays is out of this world! personally, my favorite album is First Circle. amazing music...
