Show 112 - A Rickter Xmas
Culled from the Moon archives....
Gary Hoey - Carol of the Bells, Cookies and Egg Nog Two great tracks. Superb arrangements... Steve Morse - Joy to the World Jeff Beck - Amazing Grace Alex Lifeson - The Little Drummer Boy Stu Hamm - -Sleigh Ride Steve Vai - Christmastime Is Here Joe Satriani - Silent Night, Holy Night (Jam) California Guitar Trio - Greensleeves, Carol of the Bells, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen Ten Point Ten - O Holy Night, Good Tydings, Myrrh Gary Hoey - Ave Maria Greensleeves Frosty the Snowman God Rest You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch It Came Upon A Midnight Clear O Come All Ye Faithful Little Drummer Boy My Favorite Things As you can tell I'm a bit partial to the Hoey. The Jethro Tull Christmas Album (2003) http://www.j-tull.com/news/christmasalbum.cfm Here's the lyrics and track listing. From the viciously witty "Birthday Card at Christmas", "Christmas Song", and "Last Man At the Party", and the beautiful "First Snow On Brooklyn" and "A Winter Snowscape", it's the finest xmas record I've heard. Some reworked classics also... And a late addition, forgot it was on the Moon... Kinks - Father Christmas No show next week, see you on the 7th/8th.... Moonie Christmas!
