Premiata Forneria Marconi (PFM)

I've been listening to AM for several months now and just discovered SAM and your music library. While there is a good collection of PFM, there are many missing titles.

The one that really needs to be added first is The World Became The World. The title track in particular is a masterpiece.

Their 2 latest studio albums, Dracula Opera Rock and Stati Di Immaginazione should be a next priority.

Next in line should their later live albums. Live in Japan 2002, PFM e Pagani 2005, 10 Anni Live (there are 2 excellent covers of King Crimson and Jethro Tull in here that are must haves), www.pfmpfm.it.

Passpartu, and the albums they did with DeAndre.

The remaining works might be somewhat controversial from a prog rock perspective, but given that SAM has ALL of the Genesis Pop/Rock albums, I would say PFM's albums of the 80s and 90s that are of a similar Pop/Rock vein should also be included. I can list them all here if you like, but www.progarchives.com has them all.

Finally, I don't know if you are able to track down a BBC recording they did for the Chocolate Kings era. This was the end of the relationship with Pagani but Mauro was still in the band for this session and the tracks are first rate.

Hopefully you can schedule these additions soon.

Sincerely,
Carl Prochilo
