Now in their 14th year, Rare Blend continues to engage and reawaken your senses with an entire range of flavors ranging from progressive rock, jam, jazz-rock-fusion, and any combination thereof, primarily in the form of instrumentals.

Current Rare Blend line up is: Vic Samalot (guitar), Bobbi Holt (keyboards, vocals), Jeffrey Scott (bass), Ivan George (drums & percussion). RB's latest CD release "Stops Along The Way" features a marvelous fusion of jazz, rock, and progressive, mixed with different atmospheres and moods, making for a complete triumph musically and technically.

Rare Blend is planning to record various live performances as well as review archived live studio improv cuts for their fifth album tentatively titled "Five & Live" to be released sometime in 2009. The focus will be on capturing the best from RB's catalog and improvisations over the course of 2008. Hope to see you at the show!
