Rickter Scale - Show 200

airing Sunday, October 26 from 8-11 PM EST and Monday, October 27 from 1-4 PM EST

Since this week the show number is a nice round figure, I thought I'd play just an old-fashioned radio show, no theme, just some of my favorite tracks over the years. Predominately older music, and not many passing 7-8 minutes - with the notable exception of "Ice" which is over 13.

I like a lot of music, and there are many many bands old and new that are not included on this show. While almost of the tracks are my favorites by the respective artists, in no way are they exclusive. There is so much music out there and to play some for you every week is a pleasure.

Each song holds a special meaning in one way or another, and the stories are much too involved and boring to go into - hopefully, you'll go back and play some of your favorites that get forgotten under the weight of so many great artists and music that's come out in the last 15-20 years.

Jean-Luc Ponty - Far from the Beaten Paths
XTC - King For A Day
Jethro Tull - Minstrel In The Gallery

The next 200 shows starts next week with selections from 2008, and the week after we have songs pertaining to a certain animal...
