With epics being the theme, I 've seen a lot of songs RQed that were only 10 minutes or so, and I thought, "That's not epic." So, totally arbitrary I'm sure, but where do YOU draw the line between an epic and a regular song?

I say anything under 8:00 is short. I consider 8:00 to about 14:59 midlength. I wouldn't consider something epic until it crosses the 15:00 mark. Maybe it's something to do with a quarter-hour. Maybe that's about the minimum you can get away with and call it a side-length piece. Anyway, 15:00 is my minimum length for an epic.
